JOB ROLE: Depot Manager – Full time, permanent
HOURS: 40 hours per week
CAR ALLOWANCE: £6500 per year
DEPOT: Hinckley

Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership/People Management: Supervising all depot staff, providing training and support, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. Handle all aspects of people management.
  • Health and Safety Management: Ensuring practices are up-to-date and followed by all employees, customers, and visitors.
  • Fleet Management: Ensuring legal compliance is monitored and maintained.
  • Sales: Evaluating local market conditions and identifying current and potential sales opportunities. Upsell products and services.
  • Forecasting: Reviewing and assessing forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans.
  • Budget Management: Managing the set budget and allocating funds appropriately.
  • Performance Management: Enhancing the performance of depot personnel through training, coaching, development, and motivation.
  • Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, ensuring timely restocking, and minimising discrepancies.
  • Logistics Coordination: Overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring smooth and timely operations.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensuring all safety processes are followed, conducting regular safety checks, and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Oversee all Depot operations: Including distribution, customer service, human resources, sales and administration.
