ABOUT THE ROLE:

Join Buy It Direct as a Depot Supervisor at our Crawley depot. This hands-on role will see you managing daily operations while supporting your team with loading and unloading, ensuring vehicles are loaded correctly and safely. You’ll also drive high-quality service and operational excellence across the region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage on-time, in-full (OTIF) performance and re-deliveries.
• Lead, coach, and support your team.
• Support loading/unloading processes and ensure vehicles are loaded safely and correctly.
• Handle return-to-work assessments and absence reviews.
• Work with HR on compliance, including investigations, PDPs, and disciplinary actions.
• Oversee holidays, staffing, inductions, and training.
• Manage timesheets, liaise with agencies, and maintain SOPs.
• Investigate customer complaints and oversee site maintenance.
• Implement operational improvements, reduce costs, and maintain Health and Safety standards.
