Job Details Job Location: HAMILTON MEDICAL CENTER - DALTON, GA 30722 Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Days Job Category: Clerical Hours: 8AM - 5PM Days: Monday - Friday JOB SUMMARY Works with CBO staff, HMC customers and outside customers to gather, send, process, record and maintain electronic and written forms of information. Information includes but is not limited to mail, bankruptcy information, charity adjustments and electronic document management. Completes clerical “projects” as needed for all members of the CBO staff. Qualifications JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education: Completion of a high school diploma. Licensure: N/A Experience: Prefer some experience in a clerical or health related field. Experience with electronic document management preferred. Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers. Ability to interpret and follow oral and written instructions, policies, guidelines and standards Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively. Working knowledge of medical A/R software programs and PC skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel. Must pay close attention to detail and demonstrate competence in basic math concepts PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS Works in typical office setting. Long hours sitting, some lifting and walking, occasionally requested to lift file boxes over 20 pounds. Must be able to analyze problems and take action as needed referring only complex problems to management.
