The team is responsible for developing technologies, calibration methodologies and the respective instrumentation for calibration and validation of Apple’s products. These solutions will be used during New Product Introduction (NPI) and transferred to mass production. DESCRIPTION The role of a Depth Camera Systems Engineer is to design and deploy effective calibration and test strategies for Apple’s depth sensors across our product range. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 2+ year of experience in development / system engineering (preferably systems which involve electro-optics) Competence in algorithm development / image processing / computer vision in Python or Matlab Competence in data analysis in Python or Matlab Excellent problems solving skills Excellent English communication and presentation skills. Thrives in a highly x-functional environment. BSc/MS/PHD in EE/Imaging/Physics/Optics. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with VCSEL, structured light, depth sensors, cameras, imaging Experience in optical engineering / optical / electro-optical systems
