SUMMARY

We are seeking a Deputy Manager to join our team at Carterton Social Club, located in Carterton. This role is vital in supporting the club’s operations and ensuring an exceptional experience for our members through effective management and leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and culinary practices.
• Experience in food preparation and cooking is essential.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

• Assist in overseeing daily operations of the club to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Supervise staff and manage team dynamics to foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene.
• Support in planning and executing entertainment events for members.
• Manage inventory and assist in food preparation and cooking as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance member satisfaction.
• Train new staff on operational procedures and best practices.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for member engagement.
