Ashmere Nottinghamshire has an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join our team at Ashmere. You will be highly motivated and enthusiastic Deputy Manager with a minimum of 3 years experience as a Senior Carer.
Ashmere Nottinghamshire is a family run company established over 30 years ago. Our three residential homes provide a homely environment for elderly residential residents in Sutton in Ashfield. All our pet friendly homes are of the highest quality rating.
Ashmere is very much part of the community and most of our residents have previously lived locally.

Responsibilities

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Senior Carer and have Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care.
The role is office based Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm, part of you role will require to provide cover for shifts where you will support the running of the shift and show warmth and support to our residents and their families - help to promote independence and dignity and positively enhancing the lives of individuals in our care.
Duties include
· Ensure delivery of quality of care by continually assessing our residents needs and wishes.
· Develop review and update care plans to meet our clients changing physical, social and psychological needs.
· After training, administer medication as prescribed by the service user’s GP.
· Communicate professionally and warmly with visitors and family, and other health care professionals
· Promote high standards of care by ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and shifts run in a smooth and efficient manner.
· Promote the home in a professional manner by becoming actively involved in raising awareness of the home within the local community.
You will be required to provide cover for all 3 shifts, these are early 7am – 2.30pm, late 2.30pm – 10pm and night 10pm until 7am.
