COULD YOU BE A SENSE DEPUTY CARE MANAGER?

Sense are looking for a passionate and motivated person to join our fantastic team as a Deputy Care Manager at our service in Ottery St. Mary.
This is a permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week. As a Deputy Care Manager you will receive £30,141.00 per annum. 18.75 hours per week are spent on admin, and 18.75 hours are spent supporting our residents.
Sense Otterhayes is a cluster of supported living services (7 properties) and one residential care home (for 5 people). The services have access to a poly tunnel for people to grow their own fruit and vegetables. There is an art room and a small studio.
This is an opportunity for you to work alongside the Registered Care Manager to help run the service. As a Deputy Care Manager you will provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with a range of physical/learning disabilities and autism. You will be a frontline supervisor, supporting the manager to effectively manage a team of staff to deliver person centred, specialist services.
You will need to have a sound knowledge of person centred planning, rota planning and staff management/development. We would like to hear from you if you are a committed, flexible and enthusiastic team player who is able to coach and mentor a team of support workers. You will be IT literate and able to undertake some administration duties.
