DEPUTY CHARGE NURSE - RICCARTON CLINIC About Riccarton Clinic: Riccarton Clinic is a busy combined General Practice and Urgent Care clinic located at Church Corner, Upper Riccarton. Open every day of the year from 8.00am to 8.00pm, our team of 110+ health professionals ensures that the healthcare needs of many are met. This is a wonderful opportunity to be pivotal in this dynamic organisation that offers superior service and high-quality clinical care.  About the role: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Charge Nurse to support clinical leadership and operational delivery of our nursing services. Working closely with the Charge Nurse, this role plays a key part in ensuring high-quality patient care, smooth clinic operations, and ongoing service improvement. Key responsibilities include: * Clinical Leadership & Support: Provide and support day-to-day clinical leadership and the strategic development of the nursing service. * Operational Coordination: Work collaboratively with the Charge Nurse and wider team to ensure efficient day-to-day operations of the clinic. * Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with our clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient care. What we are looking for: We’re looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and reliable individual with exceptional attention to detail and a strong team-focused approach. Ideally, you will have experience in a Lead Nurse or senior nursing role, with the ability to consistently deliver outstanding care to our patients, along with the following: * Current New Zealand Registered Nurse (RN) qualification and Annual Practising Certificate * Minimum of 5 years clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, in relevant area * Demonstrated leadership in a clinical setting * Experience as a Lead Nurse * On going Post graduation studies * Strong clinical expertise and leadership and mentoring capabilities * Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills * Cultural competency and understanding of Tikanga Māori, Kawa Māori, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi * Legal rights to work in New Zealand What we offer: * A fantastic and supportive team. * Competitive remuneration. * Comprehensive on-boarding and training programmes provided in a supportive environment. * Terms and conditions are as per the current primary care MECA.
