Role Overview: The Deputy Chief of Staff will be instrumental in helping manage the CEO’s Office—driving key initiatives, streamlining operations, and supporting the CEO in scaling the company’s growth. This role will work closely with the Chief of Staff, in addition to supporting the CEO. Key Accountabilities: Work with the Chief Executive Officer and Chief of Staff to form an efficient and effective team and provide superior executive administrative support to the CEO so they can be truly effective. Stay adaptable and flexible to the changing needs of the CEO and ensure high levels of confidentiality are demonstrated. Ensure you are familiar with the priorities the CEO is involved in to effectively serve as a representative of, and liaison to, the CEO’s office. Extensive calendar management with a focus on scheduling preferences and resolving conflicts with constant change, while keeping the CEO and others informed of last-minute schedule changes as required. Drafting timely, relevant correspondence on behalf of the CEO, and flagging any urgent matters that require the CEO’s attention. Develop and maintain strong relationships with the executive and leadership teams, and their respective areas. Help coordinate agendas for the CEO SLT meetings, create pre-read packages for distribution, and help craft presentations, memorandums, and strategy documents for internal and external matters. Travel arrangements, including conference registration, hotel accommodations, making dining reservations, and researching locations for business meetings on behalf of the CEO and other members of the leadership team as needed. Work with and across sectors of the company, particularly with finance, legal, marketing, and operations teams. Other projects/duties as assigned for the overall benefit of the organization. Bachelor’s degree, and 2+ years of varied professional experience (e.g., management consulting, finance, operations, or entrepreneurial ventures) Internships do count as years of experience Experience organizing, prioritizing, and managing the requests of multiple internal and external stakeholders Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ease in coordinating and interfacing with senior executives, both internal and external Must be flexible on working hours especially during periods of travel for the CEO Versatile abilities and extreme dedication to efficient productivity Must be based in Boulder, Colorado and available to work in-office each day Travel is not required
