SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES
It is the responsibility of the Deputy Chief Risk Officer to be responsible for supporting the Chief Risk Officer in overseeing the enterprise risk functions at the Company so that the Company is appropriately managed in a risk-controlled manner. The Deputy Chief Risk Officer (DCRO) plays a critical leadership role in supporting the Chief Risk Officer in managing the bank’s enterprise-wide risk management framework. This position ensures that all material risks—credit, market, operational, liquidity, compliance, BSA, fair lending, IT and strategic—are identified, assessed, monitored, and mitigated in alignment with the Company’s Board approved risk appetite and framework, regulatory expectations and the Bank’s strategic objectives.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/CLASSES
Required annual compliance training, New Employee Orientation; Ongoing professional education and annual conferences in risk management or regulatory/legal developments.
