Role Responsibilities (Overview)

• Support in leading and developing a team of sub-editors, ensuring the highest possible editorial standards are upheld across all our digital and print content at all times
• Take responsibility for rosters and resource planning, as directed by the Chief Sub-Editor (Features)
• Work closely and collaboratively with section, group and title editors on the selection and display of content, ensuring all content is publication-ready and meeting SEO, UX and print demands
• Optimise digital and print workflows to allow for exacting deadlines to be met while maintaining the highest standard of quality
• Carry out your duties at all times in accordance with the Mediahuis Editorial Code of Practice and relevant professional and legal code
