The AnDY Research Clinic in Oxford is a collaborative initiative between Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust CAMHS, the University of Oxford’s TOPIC research group, and the University of Reading. Supported by the NIHR Oxford Health Biomedical Research Centre, the clinic aims to develop innovative early intervention treatments for children and young people experiencing mental health difficulties. It delivers a cutting-edge psychological service that also supports clinical research, focusing on meeting the needs of a diverse population.
The clinic offers brief, evidence-based treatments for children and young people aged 5–17 with anxiety, depression, or obsessive-compulsive difficulties that significantly affect daily life. Interventions typically last 6–8 sessions and are delivered one-to-one by Children’s Wellbeing Practitioners under the supervision of senior Clinical Psychologists, either in person or online. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys team-based work, service development, and improving outcomes for children and young people.
