[What the role is]
As the Deputy Director, Corporate Services & Head of Special Needs Division, you will play a pivotal role in strategically integrating and managing the various corporate services across the agency while overseeing the Special Needs Services Division. This dual-role requires a dynamic leader with strong compliance, governance, and risk management expertise, capable of driving strategic integration and leading change. Both functions reports to the Executive Director (ED)
[What you will be working on]
HEAD OF SPECIAL NEEDS DIVISION
Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify operational gaps/issues and strategize, manage, and implement measures to resolve and enhance the efficacy of the Division.
- Work closely with Unit Heads (Manager/Assistant Manager) of both Special/Integrated Student Care and Institute of Special Programmes and Continual Equipping (iSPACE) to ensure quality service delivery that exceeds grant performance indicators of Funders.
- Cultivate a culture of innovation and take leadership in challenging situations to support the Unit Heads. Network with the agency’s Partners, churches, stakeholders, and related ministries/agencies to connect and engage for support and resources.
- Work with the Finance & Risk Management Department to monitor government-funded projects/programmes to comply with requirements. Manage the annual Divisional/Centre budgets with prudence and good stewardship.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Support the ED in the development and establishment of special needs hub, and work towards the realization of the Special Education and Integrated Care System Model.
- Assist the ED in liaison with leaders to explore collaboration and synergy that will enhance the impact in the sector.
- Assist in any other duties assigned by the ED.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in managing multiple portfolios within corporate services.
- Knowledge and experience in the special needs sector or senior services sector is advantageous.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong understanding of governance standards and risk management practices.
- Ability to drive change and lead development initiatives.
