ARE YOU A HIGH PERFORMING, SENIOR HEALTHCARE LEADER READY FOR YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE?
The Community Health Services directorate within Leicestershire Partnership Trust provides services across several community hospitals, in a wide range of other community settings and in patients’ homes. As the leading community health services provider in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, we provide inpatient and community based services including - sub acute care, all aspects of nursing care to include wound care, health promotion, continence care, general and stroke rehabilitation, end of life care, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, podiatry, falls prevention, lymphoedema, all managed through a single point of access for health professionals and patients.
At a system level, the Directorate plays a crucial role in neighbourhood working, ensuring the right care, in the right place at the right time. If patients do require acute hospital admission, we are responsible for ensuring discharge to LPT inpatient settings where required, and subsequently back into services delivered in patients own homes or residential / nursing homes.
This work is complex, requires teams to think beyond traditional organisational boundaries and requires leadership that can effectively engage and work with other systems partners such as University Hospitals of Leicester, local authorities, and other care providers.
Working alongside the CHS Associate Medical Director, Head of Nursing and Quality, and AHP Lead, the Deputy Director will, with the support of the Directorate Leadership Team, be accountable for the strategic leadership of health service delivery and the effective governance of the diverse range of clinical services provided in CHS.
We are looking for an experienced senior healthcare leader, with outstanding leadership skills and confidence to drive performance and transformation in a complex environment, to deliver high-quality outcomes and experiences for patients and staff. The successful candidate will have shown that they are an effective, visible, and approachable leader who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both within and across organisational boundaries.
