JOB SUMMARY:

The Deputy Editor will play a key role in driving the quality and direction of REDD Intelligence’s Asia coverage. The role involves overseeing editorial processes, mentoring senior staff, and ensuring that research and reports meet company standards for accuracy, style, and production quality. The Deputy Editor will also contribute to client engagement and commercial initiatives to align research priorities with market needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extensive experience in emerging market credit, investigative research, and editorial management.
  • Strong track record in managing editorial teams and maintaining high-quality research standards.
  • Excellent communication and editing skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to mentor and develop editorial staff across multiple locations.
  • Strong understanding of Asia’s financial and credit markets, particularly private credit and high-yield sectors.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with research, editorial, and sales teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related field.
  • Experience working with CRM systems like Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.
  • Familiarity with data analytics platforms, API integrations, and cloud infrastructure.

  • Lead and mentor senior editorial staff in Singapore and India, equipping them with the skills to manage their respective teams effectively.
  • Ensure all reports and research meet REDD Intelligence’s editorial guidelines and deliver value to clients.
  • Participate in daily meetings with research and editorial teams across Asia—including Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and India—to guide research direction and oversee report production.
  • Edit content and provide feedback to ensure consistency, clarity, and high-quality output.
  • Mentor individual team members, providing guidance on editorial standards and professional development.
  • Collaborate with the Singapore-based sales team to meet clients, gather feedback, and ensure alignment of research priorities with client needs.
  • Contribute to the coverage strategy for private credit, high-yield, and lower-tier investment-grade markets in Asia.
