The successful applicant will be employed by Vigilant based at our Head Office in Dumfries on a full time contract.
This is an exciting & varied role for an enthusiastic individual to join the finance team of an ambitious organisation that recognises talent and encourages personal development. Ideal for someone who is experienced in finance & is looking for the first steps into a managerial role. The post will be fully mentored working closely with the finance manager.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • An ambitious candidate with a good knowledge of finance ready to take the step into a management role
  • Excellent written, communication skills
  • An understanding of Microsoft Package, financial software package & payroll
  • Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
Responsibilities
  • Processing corporate credit card claims & reconciliation.
  • Overall control of purchase ledger
  • Nominal reconciliation
  • Monthly payroll processing & associated tasks
  • Spreadsheet maintenance
  • General understanding of all tasks within the department to assist the team
  • Deputise in the managers’ absence
