Amentum is seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented Deputy General Manager - Integrated Waste Service & Fuel Program to support Canadian Nuclear Laboratory in the Ontario, Canada.
This position will under limited supervision, plans, organizes, directs, and controls company activities in support of a specific customer program. Functions with Program Management authority during times when the Program Manager is absent.

MINIMUM POSITION KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

8+ years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s degree; 5+ years of relevant experience with Masters degree.
Usually has 2+ years of experience leading, mentoring, and/or delegating the work of others.
Must demonstrate supervisory knowledge and skills in resource organization and allocation, personnel selection and assignment, planning and budgeting, and verbal and written communications.
May be required to demonstrate significant technical knowledge in the area of program emphasis.
Possess a current driver’s license.
Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

~ Supervise and manage program activities in multiple disciplines covering technical and/or non-technical areas.
~ Coordinates the project’s financial and budget activities to maximize earnings and increase efficiency.
~ Develop detailed staffing requirements, assignments and plans to meet customer needs.
~ Provides a single point of contact for the customer to coordinate program priorities and goals.
~ Retains ultimate responsibility for the dedication of company resources to meet program goals on time and within budget.
~ Coordinate the investigation and resolution of operational problems in conjunction with other personnel.
~ Recruits and hires appropriate management, technical, and administrative personnel to ensure the accomplishment of program and contract requirements.
~ Monitors projects to manage scope and deliverables.
~ May act as a point of contact for the client.
~ Effectively manages resources.
~ Identifies and manages project risks.
~ Provides a variety of related support as requested.
