Deputy General Manager - Manufacturing Operations (BASED AT AVISSAWELLA) MAS KREEDA, is a division of MAS Holdings, exclusively producing high-performance sportswear for Nike. With manufacturing facilities in Jordan, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka, MAS KREEDA delivers a competitive edge by offering quick market access and ensuring top-tier quality control. The division's product range includes Bodywear, Knit, Fleece, Tees, Woven, Sweaters, Engineered Knit, and Bras, showcasing its diverse expertise in sportswear manufacturing. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to lead the core manufacturing value chain within the plant covering factory 1 & 2, ( raw material in to finished goods out) taking responsibility for producing the required products, in the required quantity and quality, within the required timeframe at an optimal cost, consistently and sustainably, while ensuring the safety and well-being of the employees. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with plant leadership to develop and cascade policy deployment process which results in the formulation of the Hoshin for the plant, providing strategic input into the core manufacturing area. Together with head of manufacturing support, co-create a close knit eco system around the needle point to ensure smooth flow of operations from RM to FG. Ensure optimum allocation of resources in terms of man, material and machine to ensure efficient and effective operations of the plant. Partner with the process innovation team of the plant to aggressively implement lean and automation initiatives within the plant. Collaborate with manufacturing eco system, (sourcing and supply chain, RM & RG hubs, Cutting & molding dept, and Planning) in order ensure production flows without any interruptions whilst proactively & effectively managing any bottlenecks which might impact overall performance of production thereby ensuring DIFOT (Delivery in full on time) KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS National Diploma in Textiles from a recognized Institute, Degree or Master of Business Administration or relevant professional qualification. 6-7 years of relevant work experience (5-6 years in a managerial or senior management capacity). Overall understanding of the garment industry and manufacturing process. Sound knowledge in health and safety standards including risk assessment methods and Job Hazard. Good Communication. Customer relationship skills. Good Group and Team dynamics. Lean Knowledge IT Literacy

Responsibilities

Lead the core manufacturing value chain within the plant, ensuring the production of required products in the right quantity and quality. Collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth operations and manage any bottlenecks affecting production performance.
