External Job Description Responsibilities  - • Incharge of overall quality function for cable business • Technical Presentations at various levels • New Product Development • Customer Interface • Liable for testing of cables, raw material inspection, in process quality control, routine and Type Test of cables and conductors • Handling Customer Inspections • Prepare Quality Plans and Calibration of Testing Instruments • Responsible for analyzing and taking corrective and preventive actions for non conformity observed in Process, Final testing and Feedback received from Customers • Handling Customer complaints and its prevention • Establish a lean culture (Safety, Standardization, 5S/ Visual Management, First Line Maintenance & Employee Involvement) • Liaison with 3rd Party testing Labs like BIS, CPRI, ERDA etc for testing of Cables • Ensure systematic problem solving techniques are institutionalized • Enhance processes and productivity to ensure 100% capacity utilization • Co-ordinate with sales team and customers when required • Support project manager in planning, supervision, ensuring prevention of NCRs, reporting potential failure and take corrective actions • Co-ordination between all functions like Design, Civil, Electrical, HSE, Commercial to ensure compliance as per the project QAP   Qualification - BE / Btech   Knowledge (Technical / Functional): • EHV Equipments FAT, QAP and installation procedures • Strong fundamentals of Inspection & Testing • Conversant with latest technology, testing machines and industry - product standards and specifications   Essential Skills/Expertise required: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Analytical Skills: Builds a logical approach to address problems or opportunities or manage the situation at hand.Competencies Inspiring InnovationPlanning OrientationCustomer CentricityCommunicating EffectivelyAnalytical MindsetQuality AdherenceBusiness Process KnowlegdgeDeveloping PeopleStakeholder ManagementResult Orientation
