About the role Job Summary The Business Excellence / Development Manager is responsible for managing a team of professionals focused on aligning business operations with strategic goals through planning, analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role supports the execution of functional strategies, identifies opportunities for operational optimization, and ensures the delivery of high-impact business development projects. Key Responsibilities Responsible for business planning, forecasting, and performance analysis. Support the development and execution of strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency and business alignment. Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify emerging opportunities and risks. Lead the identification and prioritization of product, service, and process improvement initiatives. Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and resource allocations for business development efforts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives and monitor progress. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations in all business development activities. Report on key performance indicators and recommend actions to executive leadership. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team. Skills & Qualifications Typically a University degree and 6+ years of relevant work experience are minimally required to be able to manage and coordinate one or more expert-level teams. Experience in business development, strategic planning, or operational excellence. Strong leadership and team management skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Proficiency in business planning tools and data visualization platforms. Project management experience, including budgeting and resource planning. Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus. Advanced degree in business, economics, or a related field preferred.
