Description:
QUALIFICATIONS & WORK EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience as an architecture leader with 15+ years overall experience and 8+ years in product development and commercialization.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end architecture, including enterprise stack, front-end technologies, mobile applications, databases, and APIs.
- Experience with streaming technology and enterprise integration.
- Proficiency in cloud-native environments and AI technologies.
- Familiarity with architecture frameworks, DevOps, and Agile methodology.
SKILLS
- Strong understanding of business strategy and its translation into technology solutions.
- Hands-on experience with software development and system administration.
- Excellent knowledge of technical architecture and modern design patterns.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple initiatives effectively.
Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the General Manager, the role will be instrumental in shaping the technical vision and executing long-term architectural strategies. The DGM focuses on developing robust, scalable, and supportable digital platforms and reusable components. This role will involve collaborating with ecosystem partners to gather requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and ensuring their successful implementation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership
1. Define the technical vision and execute long-term architectural strategies for digital platforms.
2. Collaborate with ecosystem partners to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, especially in the area of electric Mobility as a Service
3. Identify and evaluate design options to meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
4. Provide recommendations considering current applications, architecture, and end target state architecture.
Architecture Development
1. Perform feasibility analysis and develop architecture specifications.
2. Lead end-to-end architecture and design of various systems and applications.
3. Prepare detailed design specifications and define integration patterns.
Implementation & Governance
1. Ensure adoption and implementation of defined solutions.
2. Lead governance forums to maintain harmony in application architectures.
3. Ensure rigorous vetting processes for extensions and additions to the architecture.
Team Leadership and Development
1. Recruit, develop, and mentor top technical talent.
2. Foster a culture of product innovation and excellence.
3. Provide clear and consistent leadership, management, and mentoring.
Additional Responsibilities as DyGM
1. Support GM Strides Digital in operational supervision and achievement of KPIs.
2. Assist in the delivery of projects and supervise project teams.
3. Collaborate in the development of the Strides Centre of Excellence.
4. Assist in resource planning, administration, and finance.
5. Contribute to marketing and sales efforts for digital platforms and analytics capabilities.
