Deputy Geotechnical Design Manager - Up till $8500 basic + variable bonus Working location: Boon Lay Working Days/Timings: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm Responsibilities Assist Design Manager in Managing a design team. Lead, develop and provide training to junior engineers. Understand and manage client requirements. Liaise with external stakeholders on technical proposal for the projects. Ensure designs complies with regulation, engineering codes, standards and practices. Review designs and ensure they are delivered in a timely manner. Investigate incidents with technical issues. Review project closing report with internal stakeholders and develop improvements for future risk mitigation. Participate in engineering societies and contribute technical papers for conferences. Participate in global expertise groups. Design "Design & Build" solutions, including solutions for ground improvement where relevant. Provide technical marketing of solutions to clients and consultants. Conduct regular site visits to train and create buy-in from site personnel, as well as to promote quality and good practices. Requirements A PEB-recognised degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering At least 10 years of relevant experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, Plaxis 2D and Plaxis 3D
