Ulan Coal Mines, an established and high-output underground longwall coal mining operation in the western coalfields of NSW, is currently seeking a qualified and highly motivated Deputy to join our Production Team. Reporting to the Undermanager, the Deputy is responsible for supervising personnel and leading crew activities to achieve safety and performance targets.

• Leading best practice in line with legislation and Site Safety Management Systems
• Motivating crews through consistent, clear, and proactive leadership
• Upholding a high level of safety at all times
• Driving and achieving production targets
• Delivering on maintenance schedules in accordance with statutory and site regulations
• Performing statutory and compliance inspections
• Implementing effective risk management practices
