Responsibilities
  • Assist the Golf Courses Manager in the day-to-day management of the Derby golf course and grounds.
  • Supervise and lead the greenkeeping team to deliver high standards of course presentation and maintenance. Ensure effective operation of turf care equipment and machinery.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the golf course, grounds, and irrigation systems, ensuring any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Support in the planning and delivery of essential maintenance work, including aeration, top dressing, and course renovations.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for the team.
  • Promote a positive working relationship with other departments to ensure smooth operations across the resort.
