SUMMARY

We are seeking a Head Housekeeper to join our team at Buckingham Care Home in Penistone. In this pivotal role, you will ensure our facility maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, contributing significantly to the well-being of our residents.

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and orderliness throughout the care home.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols that meet health and safety regulations.
• Train and supervise housekeeping staff, fostering a positive work environment.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Collaborate with other departments to support resident needs effectively.
• Address any housekeeping-related issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and staff performance.
• Weekend availability is essential.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles, preferably in a healthcare or residential setting.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
