Deputy Head of Social Work Calvary Mater Newcastle * Temporary full time role (12 months leave relief) * Salary classification: Social Worker Level 4 * Remuneration: $63.81 - $65.35 per hour The Role: The Deputy Head of Social Work is responsible for the provision of Social Work Services and the maintenance of professional social work standards in the Social Work Department. The Social Work Department at Calvary Mater Newcastle plays a crucial role in supporting patients and families through some of the most challenging times in their lives. The Department consists of 22 Social Workers who work across various hospital departments including emergency, intensive care, medical and surgery, as well as haematology, oncology and palliative care; providing a 7 day per week service.
