Description

Working alongside the Head of Sound and AV, this role has responsibility for all Sound and AV requirements for Rep productions and will assume a hands-on role in the day to day running of the department. You will ensure excellent service is consistently provided to staff, freelancers, and customers and visitors to The Rep and UVB events. This role will require you to deputise for the Head of Sound and AV and ensure the efficient technical management of events and productions. There is also a responsibility to ensure that both digital technology and sustainability are at the heart of every project.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of producing new work in theatre, as well as programming and the operation of digital sound consoles and playback software. Strong communication, organisational skills, and a proactive approach to working is essential. The candidate must be computer literate and have practical experience of using Word, Excel (or equivalent) and AutoCAD or Vectorworks are required. IPAF and first aid certification is preferred.
