We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manger to work with our dedicated team and ensure high-quality care and support for the elderly in our 15 bed care home. The Deputy Manager plays a key role in monitoring quality outcomes with the Registered Manager for best practice aligned with regulatory requirements. This position requires a compassionate leader who can effectively manage staff, develop care plans, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in senior care settings, including assisted living or nursing homes, and possess strong leadership skills to foster a positive and supportive atmosphere for both staff and residents.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the day-to-day management of operations of the supported living service, ensuring that all residents receive personalised care tailored to their individual needs.
  • Work closely with the Home Manager to develop, implement, and review care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Play a key role in safeguarding, medication management, audit and care planning
  • Conduct regular assessments of residents’ needs and monitor their progress to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Lead, mentor and develop the care team.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident care and staff performance while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
