Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operations of our domiciliary care services. The Deputy Manager will ensure the highest standards of care, manage and support care teams, and help maintain regulatory compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Registered Manager in overseeing daily operations of care delivery.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support care and administrative staff to ensure a high-quality service.
  • Carry out spot checks, staff supervisions, and appraisals
  • Assist with recruitment, training, and induction of new staff.
  • Asses and develop care plans for new service users
  • Ensure care plans and risk assessments are up to date and person-centred.
  • Handle safeguarding concerns and incident reporting appropriately.
  • Participate in on-call rota and respond to emergencies.
  • Build strong relationships with service users, families, and external professionals.
  • Help ensure compliance with CQC standards and other relevant legislation.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive team culture.
