We are looking for a responsible, hardworking and conscientious leader to join our front of house team as a Deputy Manager. This is a fulltime role reporting directly to the business owners.
Ideally you’ll have a passion for beer, wine, spirits….. anything served in a glass! Your time will be spent doing a mixture of bar and cellar work.
We have a large following of locals and visitors who need time spending with them. You’ll be a chatty and outgoing person who is in their element speaking with all walks of life, having day to day conversations and getting to know people.
Responsibilities include:
Hosting - Seating customers, spending time with locals
Taking control of the bar & restaurant floor, taking orders, delegating tasks to others
Managing a large front of house team by leading and mentoring them
Being a key holder for the premises with some “lock up” & “open up” shifts, cashing up
Ensuring our customers have a fantastic experience from start to finish - using your drinks knowledge to heighten the experience
Managing the day to day running of the business in the absence of the GM
Helping to keep the business a safe environment for customers & staff
Having a key role in the maintenance of the cellar, taking in deliveries, looking after 6 lines of cask conditioned ales etc
