Job Description Development of software for packaging machines & system integration. Skill Required (Must Have): PLC programming Servo/motion programming HMI programming Technical documentation for customer orders as per ISO & CE requirements Technical co-ordination and cross functional support on customer project topics. Co-ordination with Center of Competence for software configuration and new module developments Visit to customer sites for new projects, troubleshooting etc. Cost reduction measures in the machines. Preparation and attending internal / external audits. Participation in functional and cross functional Continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications B.E. in Electronics/ Electrical/ Instrumentation having 8+ years’ experience in Software development for automated machines Domain of Packaging Machines / Special Purpose Machines, especially VFFS Sound knowledge of PLC and HMI programming for Allen Bradley, Beckhoff Programming skills in languages, for example Ladder, STL. Software tools Rockwell Studio 5000, Factory talk, Twincat Hardware : Allen Bradley, Beckhoff Knowledge in SAP & EPLAN is desired. Knowledge of SCADA and data acquisition systems is desirable. Problem solving skills to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, including gathering and analyzing information, developing alternative solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills Good interpersonal skills and ability to successfully handle a multi-tasked role. Self-motivated, sense of urgency and well organized.
