Description

DEPUTY MANAGER (MATERNITY COVER – UNTIL AUGUST 2026)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our friendly and supportive residential care home team. This is a temporary position to cover maternity leave until August 2026.
We pride ourselves on being a high-quality, luxury care home that supports our residents to live their lives the way they want. We are looking for someone who shares our values, treating our residents the way we would want our own parents treated.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a compassionate and caring individual to really make a difference to the lives of those you support.

The successful applicant will have the following responsibilities:

  • Assisting with administrative work in the care home
  • Staff leadership & management, rota planning, medication management, audits
  • Generally being the Manager’s eyes and ears on the care floor

As a Deputy Manager you will make a direct difference to our residents’ lives; leading the care team on the floor, assisting with medication, providing personal care and serving food and drinks and leading the team of excellent carers to continue to provide quality care. In addition as a deputy manager you are expected to deliver personal care, but also work towards our ethos in delivering person centred care and outcomes to allow the residents you support to get the most from their lives, delivering the standard of care you would want for your loved ones.
