DEPUTY MANAGER – TOWY CASTLE CARE HOME

Location: Carmarthen, South Wales
Salary: £33,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 40 hours per week (Mon–Fri, with flexibility for evenings, weekends & on-call)

We’re seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to join Towy Castle Care Home. You’ll support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, supervise staff, and step up in their absence to ensure smooth operations and high-quality care.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the Registered Manager in the daily running of the home
• Provide leadership, supervision, and appraisals to staff
• Oversee audits, compliance, and quality assurance
• Manage care plans and risk assessments
• Assist with recruitment, induction, and training
• Liaise with families, professionals, and external agencies
• Manage rotas and staffing levels
• Be part of the on-call rota and provide cover when required
