JOB TITLE: OFSTED DEPUTY MANAGER (X3 VACANCIES)

Location: Peterborough
Salary: £16.93 per hour (based on 40 hours per week)
Sleep-In Rate: £70.50 per sleep-in shift

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking three dedicated and experienced Deputy Managers to support the running of Ofsted-regulated children’s residential homes in Peterborough. This is a hands-on role requiring flexibility, leadership, and a strong understanding of safeguarding and care standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – essential.
• Willingness to work towards a Level 5 qualification – essential.
• Full UK driving licence – strongly preferred.
• Previous experience in a residential childcare setting.
• Excellent understanding of safeguarding and child protection.

• Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the care team.
• Participate in the on-call rota (1 week per month).
• Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and development of children and young people.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with Ofsted regulations and internal policies.
• Take part in a variable shift pattern, including evenings and weekends.
