Are you a skilled and compassionate leader ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to join a fantastic team in a children’s home in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity to help lead a small, effective home that specializes in supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviors. Our home currently holds a “GOOD” Ofsted rating.
Your Role

As the Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the home remains a safe and therapeutic environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting Management: Assist with the day-to-day management of the home’s operations.
  • Leading the Home: Confidently manage the home in the absence of the Registered Manager.
  • Team Development: Help recruit, mentor, and develop the staff team.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Pay: A rate of £15.00 per hour, plus a £60 per sleep-in allowance, with a total package of up to £38,000.

What You’ll Bring

  • Qualification: An NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Team Leader or Deputy Manager in a children’s residential setting.
  • Driving: A valid driver’s license is required.
