JOB SUMMARY

The Deputy Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the overall operations of our service. This position involves overseeing daily activities, ensuring the highest standards of care for the children in our care, and assisting in the management of staff. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in children’s residential care and must hold a valid Child Care Qualification.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Manager in the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Supervise and support staff, providing guidance and training to ensure quality care for residents.
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans for children, focusing on their unique needs
  • Monitor medication administration and ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed.
  • Foster a positive environment that promotes dignity, respect, and independence for all residents.
  • Liaise with families and external professionals to coordinate care services effectively.
  • Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans as necessary.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of services offered within the facility.
