Proficient Python developer (6–8 years) with strong software engineering practices: modular code, exception handling, performance optimization. 2. Hands-on experience with REST API development using Flask, FastAPI , routing, middleware, request/response handling. 3. Strong experience in database development – PostgreSQL, MySQL: schema design, indexing, joins, and performance tuning. 4. Solid background in ETL pipelines – data ingestion, transformation, and export using Pandas, SQLAlchemy, and raw SQL. 6. Proficiency in application deployment – Gunicorn/Nginx stack, Linux server hosting, Bash scripting. 7. Comfortable with cloud storage services – AWS S3 or Azure Blob for file handling, metadata reading, and access control & EC2. 8. Version control using Git – branching, PR workflows, conflict resolution, code review readiness. 9. API testing and debugging – using Postman, Pytest, and logging best practices. Qualifications B. Tech or MCA degree or equivalent

Responsibilities

The Deputy Manager-Data Science will be responsible for developing and optimizing software solutions using Python and managing database systems. They will also oversee the implementation of ETL pipelines and ensure efficient application deployment.
