Job Title: EHS Manager / Safety Manager – IBMS Projects Location: Ahmedabad Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced EHS / Safety Manager with a strong background in IBMS, CCTV, and Access Control Systems (ACS) projects. The role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety standards, implementing EHS policies, and managing site safety across execution of projects. Key Responsibilities: 1. EHS Compliance & Implementation Ensure compliance with company EHS policies, statutory regulations, and safety standards across all project sites Implement and monitor Safety, Health & Environment Management Systems (SHEMS) Conduct regular site safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments Ensure adherence to work permits, PPE usage, and safety procedures 2. Project & Site Safety Management Oversee safety execution for IBMS, CCTV, and ACS installation projects Identify and mitigate site hazards during installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities Ensure safety compliance during electrical, cabling, and integration works Monitor contractor and subcontractor safety performance 3. Risk Assessment & Incident Management Conduct HIRA (Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment) and job safety analysis Investigate incidents/near misses and ensure corrective & preventive actions Maintain safety documentation, incident logs, and compliance reports 4. Training & Awareness Conduct safety induction for employees, contractors, and vendors Organize periodic safety trainings, toolbox talks, and awareness programs Promote safety culture across project teams 5. Regulatory & Documentation Compliance Ensure compliance with Indian statutory safety norms, labour laws, and EHS regulations Maintain all safety records, audit reports, and statutory documentation Coordinate with external auditors and clients on safety compliance 6. Stakeholder Coordination Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Site teams Interface with clients, consultants, and vendors on EHS matters Support management during audits and escalation scenarios Required Skills & Experience: ✅ Mandatory Skills Strong experience in IBMS, CCTV, Access Control Systems (ACS) projects Hands-on experience in site safety for installation/commissioning projects Knowledge of electrical safety, low-voltage systems, and data centre safety (preferred) Johnson Controls: Enhancing the Intelligence of Buildings Your buildings have a purpose.
