Primary Responsibilities: Candidates applying for this position must have 5+ years of combined experience in finance and/or financial systems, and extensive knowledge of FP&A or a similar role. Must be a self-starter with a solid work ethic. Candidates should possess the following skills: Perform monthly variance analysis and collaborate with cross functional teams to identify and explain fluctuations in IT service chargebacks Partner with key business teams and stakeholders across the organization to manage monthly billing activities and resolve billing related issues Analyze complex financial data and summarize key findings and recommendations to support management decision making Manage the administration of financial forecasting cycles (2+10, 5+7, 8+4, and annual Budget) Oversee and administer the end to end monthly billing process to ensure accuracy and timeliness Prepare, compile, and format data to support preliminary analyses for budgeting and forecasting processes Drive process standardization, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to creating value for business partners Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications: B.Com 5+ years of financial and/or accounting experience Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint) Proficiency in MPWR and Hyperion SmartView/Essbase financial tools Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required; an MBA in Finance from a reputable business school Experience in developing financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Solid understanding of accounting, financial, and operational principles, supported by excellent analytical and data interpretation skills Proven solid interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across various levels of management Proven solid attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a dynamic, fast paced work environment At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
