OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team in a senior care environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in assisted living, nursing home operations, and senior care management. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our residents, particularly those with dementia and Alzheimer’s. The Deputy Manager will work closely with the management team to oversee daily operations, implement care plans, and lead a team of caregivers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home settings is essential.
  • Background in nursing or senior care management preferred.
  • Strong understanding of dementia care principles and practices.
  • Experience in developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with prior supervising experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative when required.
  • Knowledge of medication administration procedures is advantageous.
