Role Purpose The role holder is responsible for coordinating with the Budgeting & Billing team at project sites and for capturing accurate data at timely intervals for a group of projects to provide a first level analysis to the Vertical Lead - B&B – Offices. The incumbent acts as a point of contact for budgeting and billing related concerns in the group of projects. The role holder acts as a checker for the operational work being done at the project sites and raises relevant concerns to the senior stakeholders. The role holder supports the Vertical Lead - B&B – Offices in examining the Change of Scope (CoS) related activities, validation of client / sub-contractor bills and also guides the Project team on material and quantity reconciliations. Key Responsibilities Budgeting & Billing – Provide support to the Vertical Lead – B&B - Offices in completing initial budgeting exercise (post-win and pre-design), material and quantity reconciliations, cost planning and validation of bills received from the project sites. Drive frequent physical validation of client and sub-contractor bills on project sites based on the data captured in the RFI. Execute costing related activities for a set of 4-6 projects. Monitor the progress of the 4-6 projects in scope and provide a first level analysis of budget vs actual. Ensure all contractual terms are adhered to during the budgeting exercise. Support the Vertical Lead - B&B - Offices in reviewing CoS documentation and guide the Project teams of in scope projects in CoS documentation Reporting – Periodically review the data in the SAP systems at the corporate office. Ensure adherence to standardized reporting mechanisms and defined timelines across project. Provide analytical insights to the Vertical Lead from the captured data and facilitate teams in resolving billing issues hindering the smooth execution of the cluster of 4-6 projects. Indicative Experience and Exposure Graduate in engineering, preferably Post Graduation in equivalent specialized stream. Min 2 yrs. of working in the area of Planning & Billing on projects.
