JOIN OUR TEAM AS OUR DEPUTY MANAGER

We’re on the lookout for a proactive and passionate Deputy Manager to support our General Manager and Shift Leaders in running a vibrant, customer-focused hospitality venue. If you’re a natural leader who thrives under pressure, leads from the front, and takes pride in high standards, this role is for you.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Previous experience in a management or supervisory role within hospitality is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills and a “lead from the front” mentality.
  • A clear understanding of hospitality operations and guest experience.
  • A sharp eye for cleanliness, detail, and operational efficiency.
  • Organisational skills that keep the back and front of house running smoothly.
  • A flexible approach to work, able to adapt to a variety of shift patterns.
  • Hunger to learn, grow, and take on new responsibilities.
  • A confident communicator and team player who’s always looking for ways to improve.
  • Comfortable using POS systems and other standard tech tools.

CONTRACT & AVAILABILITY:

This is a minimum 20-hour contract, but additional hours will be available for the right candidate. We’re looking for someone flexible and committed, with the availability to work across a range of shifts including weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities
  • Support the General Manager and Shift Leader in daily operations.
  • Lead your team by example, creating an energised and motivated working environment.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and create memorable guest experiences.
  • Oversee cleaning and hygiene standards with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Confidently delegate tasks while being prepared to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.
  • Maintain and improve operational standards through structure, initiative, and fresh ideas.
  • Stay calm, organised, and solutions-focused in busy or high-pressure moments.
  • Manage and operate our POS system with confidence and accuracy.
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety standards, including the HACCP process.
  • Help build and maintain a positive team culture, because we’re only as strong as our people.
