JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team in providing exceptional care within our assisted living facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, including experience in nursing homes and familiarity with dementia and Alzheimer’s care. This role requires a compassionate leader who can effectively manage staff, oversee care plans, and ensure the highest standards of service for our residents.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in assisted living or nursing home settings is essential.
  • A background in nursing or relevant healthcare qualifications is highly desirable.
  • Proven supervisory experience with strong management skills.
  • Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, and medication administration protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on empathy and understanding towards residents’ needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating leadership capabilities.
  • Familiarity with developing care plans tailored to individual resident requirements is an advantage.   • Provide leadership and guidance to the team in delivering high-quality care, including medication administration and personal support.

  • Ensure that all documentation related to resident care is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Facilitate training sessions for staff on best practices in senior care, including dementia and Alzheimer’s support.
