We are looking for a confident Registered Nurse ready to take on a leadership role within our care home in the position of Deputy Home Manager. You will have the opportunity to develop your career and have a positive impact in a small and supportive nursing home for older people.
Northlands Care Home is a dual registered home of 39 beds providing nursing and residential care to older people in Northumberland.
Northlands is part of Parkside Care which is a small family owned care home operator based in the North East of England. We want someone to join the Northlands family to lead our dedicated care team in providing the best possible care for the people who live with us.

You will lead shifts and support clinical excellence across the home. This role will include a mix of time on the floor as the nurse on duty and also regular supernumerary days each week to support the Home Manager in the running of the home. You will be involved in compliance, audits and monitoring standards of care as well as building strong relationships with residents and their families.
You will provide cover when the Home Manager is on holiday. You will also provide some on-call support to the home when needed and there will be occasional weekend working.
