Nursery Deputy Manager – Support, Lead, and Grow

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re seeking someone who’s ready to lead with confidence and compassion. You’ll bring:

• A Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years or Childcare
• Experience in a senior nursery role, ideally as a Room Leader or Deputy
• Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding requirements
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive, supportive attitude and a genuine love for working with children

As Nursery Deputy Manager, you’ll be a hands-on leader, supporting both strategic goals and day-to-day operations. You’ll:

• Assist in managing the nursery’s daily running, ensuring smooth operations
• Lead by example in delivering high-quality care and education
• Support staff development through mentoring and guidance
• Maintain compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety standards
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and your team
• Step confidently into the Manager’s role when required
