Qualification: Valid NMC PIN and advanced clinical experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
· An RGN holding a valid NMC pin with advanced clinical skills and experience, , ensuring that you can respond to residents’ medical needs and promote their overall well-being
· A deep commitment to delivering high-quality care, with the drive to continually exceed expectations.
· Evidence of personal and professional development since registration, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
· Previous experience in deputising or leading a team, with a proven ability to manage staff and maintain high standards of care.
· Experience working with elderly residents, particularly in specialised areas such as dementia care or end-of-life care.
· Familiarity with electronic care planning systems, preferably PCS, ensuring that residents’ care plans are accurate, up-to-date, and person-centered.
· Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing individualized, person-centered care plans, ensuring each resident’s unique needs are met.
· (Desirable) L5 Leadership and Management qualification, showcasing advanced leadership skills and the ability to manage at a higher level.
As a key member of our home’s leadership team, your responsibilities will include:
· Coaching and leading a team of nurses and carers to deliver exceptional clinical care.
· Supporting residents, assessing their needs and promoting their well-being, all while enabling them to continue to live their best lives.
· Creating, implementing and auditing person-centered care plans
· You will take charge of the home when the manager is unavailable, ensuring that all standards of care are maintained and the home continues to run smoothly and efficiently
