We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our passionate team and help support the continued success of the nursery.

THE ROLE:

As Deputy Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role within the setting, working alongside the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery. You will lead by example, support staff development, and help uphold the highest standards of care, education, and safeguarding.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Nursery Manager in the overall running of the nursery
• Lead and motivate the staff team to ensure high standards across the setting
• Support the implementation of the EYFS curriculum and ensure best practices are followed
• Act as a key point of contact for staff, parents, and carers
• Oversee health & safety, safeguarding, and compliance procedures
• Take charge in the absence of the Nursery Manager
• Contribute to staff training, development, and performance reviews
