Deputy Regional Manager – Asia Operations Secret Food Tours is an award-winning food tour company, and we’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic, experienced, and travel-loving individual to join our global team as Deputy Regional Manager for Asia.
This is a dynamic, full-time position ideal for someone with a passion for food, culture, and travel, as well as a proven track record in hospitality, operations, or tourism management. As Deputy Regional Manager, you’ll work closely with the Regional Manager to oversee and support our food tours across multiple cities in Asia—ensuring quality, growing our network of partners, and leading guide teams with energy and professionalism.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, tourism, business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in hospitality, tourism, or tour operations, ideally in a managerial capacity.
  • Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate diverse teams across multiple locations.
  • Experience working in multicultural environments.
  • Passion for food, travel, and delivering unforgettable customer experiences.
  • Flexibility to travel frequently and work weekends or holidays as needed.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote-first company.
Responsibilities
  • Support and deputize for the Regional Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations across all Asian cities.
  • Recruit, train, and manage high-performing teams of local tour guides.
  • Assist in designing and refining compelling food tour itineraries tailored to diverse markets.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with local restaurants, vendors, and partners.
  • Monitor tour performance, collect and analyze customer feedback, and ensure consistent quality across all tours.
  • Take ownership of operational and financial metrics, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting.
  • Step in as a tour guide when needed to maintain standards and lead by example.
  • Stay ahead of culinary and travel trends in the region and integrate them into our experiences.
  • Travel regularly between cities to audit, support, and train local teams.
