. Summary of Job Description - Understanding Customer’s specification of High Voltage motors & allied systems for LUV, Thermal power, Refineries projects, etc. - Preparation of detail Motor manufacturing & testing documentation - Tracking & monitoring of project wise motor inhouse manufacturing plan, ensuring for timely execution by close co-ordination with Production and Purchase dept. - Co-ordination with suppliers for machining, Stator / Rotor lamination fitment, technical documents as per data sheets, verification of compliances/deviations, in terms of electrical / mechanical construction & performance parameters - Ensuring for readiness of Motor test set-up to carry out inhouse testing as per procedure - Interaction with external Labs for special Motor tests - Interaction with suppliers, internal Quality department & Lead project manager, for review of project Quality Control Plan (QCP) - Internally reviewing & approving suppliers’ documents (with any customization if required) for submission to the customer and interaction with the customer & supplier for timely approval - Monitoring QCP & visiting suppliers for KSB’s inspection witness points as required during manufacturing & getting necessary timely clearances/approvals after review of inspection documents. - Knowledge related to HT motor winding process & Testing - Knowledge of various Motor certifications like ATEX, PESO, IECEx Requirement profile: Formal Education : Graduate engineer in Electrical engineering Professional experience in years: Minimum 12 years of experience in HT Motor manufacturing & handling customers & suppliers in projects Defined competencies: Functional Competencies: · In depth Knowledge of HT motor manufacturing, · Knowledge of different procedures used for testing of HT motors & exposure to related instrumentation & test setup · Ability to understand & interpret manufacturing aspects of product performance · Knowledge of drawings & documents related to the job. · Knowledge of International & Indian standards for HV motors & allied systems · Relevant experience in handling projects of similar nature in a pump industry is preferred · MS Office, Basic SAP Behavioral Competencies: · Target Orientation · Planning and Coordination. · Problem Solving. · Conflict Management. · Communication. · Creativity. · Analytical ability · Decision Making KSB is a leading supplier of pumps, valves and related service.
