Description
Responsibilities: Developing a safe working environment. Quality control of processes and products. Planning and execution of developmental work. Planning and execution of cost reduction of products. Handling inspection of finished goods. Control on incoming raw materials and timely evaluation. Calibration and maintenance of lab equipment. Reduction in quality complaints of products. Customization of products. Customer/ supplier visit. Adherence to ISO, QMS and Calderys systems. Coordination with Marketing / R & D / Project /Application and Supply Chain. Training subordinates and monitoring their performance. Essential: B.Tech in Ceramic Engineering Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Control within the refractory monolithics or brick industry Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and protocols relevant to refractory manufacturing Preferred: In-depth knowledge of ceramics and refractories Familiarity with refractory testing and characterization techniques Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective written and verbal communication Understanding of mineralogy, crystallography, and phase diagrams Knowledge of refractory property–performance correlation and installation techniques Hands-on experience with testing and characterization tools used in refractory quality assessment Leadership qualities, including team-building and cross-functional coordination Ability to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships effectively
